Carolyn Confer called me about a month ago and told me about a job opening at Sangre (elementary school) for library media assistant. I turned in the application as soon as I could, which was about 3 1/2 weeks ago. I had not heard anything so I emailed the lady in charge of personnel applications and she said my application was being used for all teacher and library assistant positions and that the job at Sangre still has not been filled. It is a little frustrating because we need to make arrangements for preschool for Madison. We were put on Rennaissance's waiting list and they called and said they had a spot open for her, we couldn't say yes or no because I don't know if I have the job. School starts the 13th! When my first started teaching she received her job offer 2 days before school started! I hope that doesn't happen. I am still on the fence whether or not I want to work. No, I know I don't want to work but I have to do something to help. Madison and Garrett both want me to stay home, it breaks my heart. I wish I could have waited for next school year for Madison to be in pre-kindergarten. Garrett is excited for 1st grade, we keep telling him not to grow up and he does it anyway...stinker.
The rugrats went to the dentist Wednesday. Garrett did great and has a perfect grin. He needs to lose some more teeth and the dentist already has us talking about orthodontists! This was Madison's first visit. Garrett was a great big brother and went in with her to make sure she was going to be okay. He stayed in there and Madison did great. She was of course quiet but she let them clean her teeth. She has a beautiful smile as well.
Adam and I took the kids to see Space Chimps last Friday. It was a cute movie. The kids enjoyed it. Saturday night Adam and I actually got to go on a date! (Thanks Chad and Jess) Adam's birthday was the next day, Sunday, so we celebrated the night before. I had bought tickets to see The Dark Knight, it was a surprise to him. Yea me! It was a great movie! Heath Ledger was amazing in this movie! I love spending time with my husband, he is so much fun to be with. I hope it is reciprocal.

I hope the job thing works out...whichever way you want it to go. It would be terribly frusterating not hearing anything! When we were waiting to hear about transfer info last year, they really didn't do anything in the office 'till at least Aug! I was shocked...and there I was wringing my hands in June and July and nobody was even doing anything!
And, yay(!) for dates! I heard that the movie was really good and Heath Ledger was amazing, too. I am glad that you both got some couple time and got a break. Wish Adam a "happy birthday" from us!
